Kansas City native Casey Coverdell is an award-winning chef and pitmaster whose passion for bold, smoke-forward cuisine has earned him recognition throughout Northwest Arkansas.  As the Executive Chef of a premier live entertainment venue and owner of, I’d Smoke That Catering, Casey is known for blending classic barbecue techniques with elevated chef-driven flavors.

When he’s not in the kitchen, Casey is a devoted husband and proud father of two energetic boys who keep him just as busy at home as he is in the kitchen.  Whether cooking for thousands at concerts or creating unforgettable meals for private events, he believes great food is about bringing people together.  Casey is excited once again to put his creativity and competitive spirit, and love of cooking to this year’s Premier Chef Northwest Arkansas competition.
